Wildbase and Administration Building is sited between the Hopkirk building to the north, the NZVP Labs to the east, and the Vet School Clinic to the south. It is 3 stories height.

Programmatically, the building is split into two units; the ground floor (level one) contains the Wildbase Hospital as almost, self-contained clinical hospital, Staff Common Room and The Internal Street with Reception connecting new building with existing Clinics. The levels two and three, contain the administration offices of the Vet School. Each of the Admin floor levels are similar in layout with internal adjustments to accommodate dedicated open plan areas, meeting rooms and board rooms. ‘The Street’ entry and the west end of the Wildbase and Admin building will form the new street front and approach from the existing footpath and University Avenue.
