Date: February - March 2011 Architectural office: Consulting Bureau for Development of Healthcare Facilities ‘PROMEDICON’ Ltd.
Usable floor area: 467 m2.
The task was to create office space as an extension of existing building, which is rent out for service and commerce. This three storey building, including one underground level, has mostly steel and glass façade with both transparent and red shaded glazing. Building is situated in the direct proximity of the street and the busy promenade so in order to avoid a communication clash the ground floor of new pavilion was cut out to make a passageway between buildings. The objective was to create a space that was open to and accessible by the public. Building is also adapted for people with disabilities.
