The location of the building is in the mountainous region and that was the main reason to design a form with a modern equivalent of traditional pitched roof. Form of the building was diversified by horizontal windows even on the northern site of the building. The main entrance was emphasized by big glazing and wide terrain straircase.  The southern facade has terraces and big balcony windows to gain passive solar energy. During design process we discovered that the guesthouse looked rather dull and that is why we decided to cover it with wooden-like cladding to liven up facade and give it more ecological look.
